Wrightsville Beach

From 2020-2025, Phoebe worked for Soundside in Wrightsville Beach, NC. She began as crew, working sunset sails and teaching sailing lessons. Her second year, she obtained her USCG captain’s license and started captaining charters on 26’ and 35’ monohulls. Year three was the start of her liveaboard adventure on SV Bella, a 44’ catamaran! She ran both day charters and term (multi-day) charters on Bella, sailing her down to the Caribbean each winter to keep the season going. After two full cycles of running Bella between NC and the USVI, she is making the move on to new boats in new places!

Wrightsville Beach will always be the place where it all began. Phoebe has extensive experience captaining sails here, as well as up and down the ICW to destinations such as Southport, Bald Head Island, and Little River, SC.
